F&M Bank Highlights Financial Advisor Brent Loope Serving Augusta County Clients

Augusta County, VA — F&M Bank is highlighting the work of Osaic Institutions Financial Advisor Brent Loope, who supports clients throughout the Augusta County market as part of our Financial Services team.

Originally from Botetourt County, Brent attended Bridgewater College and has remained in the Shenandoah Valley region ever since. His local roots and understanding of the region help him connect with individuals and families across the communities F&M Bank serves.

Brent works alongside Osaic Institutions Senior Financial Advisor Calan Jansen, helping clients navigate financial planning conversations and long-term financial strategies. Together, they focus on building trusted relationships and helping clients think through important financial decisions at every stage of life.

“Brent has become an important part of the advisory team,” said Jansen. “We work closely together to support clients throughout the region, and his dedication to building strong relationships has made him a valuable resource for individuals and families in the Augusta County market.”

Brent joined Osaic Institutions and F&M Bank after hearing about the organization’s strong reputation in the community and its collaborative Financial Services team.

“F&M has a great reputation as a place of employment,” Brent said. “I had heard phenomenal things about the Financial Services department and was excited for the opportunity to grow in a role where I could continue learning and helping people plan for their future.”

Prior to joining F&M Bank, Brent worked as a realtor, where he gained valuable experience guiding individuals and families through one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives. That background continues to shape his approach today, with a focus on communication, trust, and helping clients feel confident in their decisions.

“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” Brent said. “That advice has carried through every career I’ve had and continues to guide how I approach working with clients today.”

Outside the office, Brent enjoys spending time with his family, listening to podcasts during his morning commute, and occasionally playing guitar. A soccer fan, he also hopes to travel to England one day to see Liverpool play in person.
